Well lets face it the Mayor story really was a wasted thing. At first he got to play with Karl and all was good, but once he was voted in the number of mayor related stories have been low. The story has served it's purpose now and I'm not really surprised to see them end it so they don't have to keep it up forever.

What the press typically forget to mention is that I resign. I just don't want to do it anymore. I beat Karl and proved to him that he can't play games in my house without loosing and now my job is over. But those mongrel journos don't want to print the proof, they want headlines about me being sacked....well good luck to them!

Maybe he's realised that even he can't be a meanie greenie all the time, especially now when he's so down in the dumps.

He's god's gift to the medical profession. A disgraced GP proven guilty one more than one occasion yet now working in the hospital and able to diagnose everything from a runny nose to mental problems.

There is hardly a need to recommend a surgeon given that Erinsborough Hospital would already have the best surgeon working there. Karl would have ensured the best staff at the same time as he was doing the pay roll and accounts, which was just after he organised the ER and just before he authorised the extensions to the fifth floor.

There hasn't been any proven mental cases in Erinsborough for a while so the thought probably hasn't come up.

Maybe that's why Karl is taking such an interesting in Paul and it has nothing to do with wanting to be king.
