unneeded notifications

As you will know I registered yesterday and in the 24 hours since I've received about 20 notifications of posts, unnecessarily.

If ever this site takes takes off, and gets to the stage where I've posted on numerous threads, such notifications are just going to flood my email to the point where the Titanic is more afloat than my important emails. Which is not saying that emails from this site aren't important,

Just that there are, probably, going to be far too many.

Notification about a pm is o.k., but just to advise that some one has posted after me. Nah.

Hope this is just a teething problem

p.s. why no bomb in the smilie's?

There is a setting in your profile which allows you to turn off the notifications.

I thought I was getting these unneeded notifications, then I realised it wasn't that they were unneeded it was that they were unbelieveable. It's lucky Neighbours is G-rated imagine the topics you lot would come up with if it was R rated Razz
